I’m a qualified, fully insured Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I believe that our mental and emotional wellbeing is just as vital as our physical health - and that healing often begins with human connection. My aim is to offer you a safe, compassionate, and confidential space where you can share your story, explore your concerns, and reconnect with your authentic self.
My approach is rooted in warmth, respect, and genuine curiosity. I bring my values of compassion and connection into every session, holding space for you to feel seen, heard, and valued. You matter. Your needs matter. And what you bring to the world is uniquely yours - I’m here to support you on your journey of self-discovery and emotional growth.
Finding the right counsellor is a personal decision. Some people seek gentle reflection, others prefer practical tools. As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I draw from a range of therapeutic models - including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and creative exercises - but I believe the most important foundation is a trusting relationship. You’ll have my full attention and acceptance, and we’ll work at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll explore:
I’ll walk beside you - wherever you are in your struggles - with sensitivity and care.
My curiosity about people led me to study Sociology, where I found a deep interest in Social Psychology. I’ve long been drawn to the emotional world - especially the impact of sensitivity and introversion on self-confidence, overwhelm, and anxiety. This passion led me to personal development courses in emotional intelligence, identity, and self-esteem. After navigating significant life changes and experiencing the transformative power of therapy myself, I trained at Step by Step Counselling College - first completing an advanced certificate, then continuing with a full diploma. The experience was life-changing and affirmed my calling to support others.
I have a particular interest in High Sensitivity - a trait found in around 20% of the population. Highly sensitive individuals tend to process experiences more deeply and feel more attuned to their inner and outer worlds. I help clients embrace the strengths of sensitivity while navigating its challenges with care and clarity. I also support university students, having worked for several academic years within the wellbeing team at the University of Exeter. My lived experience and professional training allow me to support a wide range of individuals, including older adults through a counselling charity, and those in crisis via a text-based helpline.

I believe there is a profound connection between the mind and body, and we often carry emotions physically, sometimes entering a survival mode for extended periods without knowing how to exit it. I firmly believe in the importance of acknowledging these emotions, and through holistic wellness, we can embrace and release these feelings. I discovered reiki during a challenging time in my life and found its calming nature beneficial. The principles of reiki have helped me maintain a positive outlook and enduring hope during adversities. In our fast-paced and busy lives, self-care may often be neglected, yet it is essential for our well-being and, by extension, affects those around us positively. I practice the Usui method of reiki and am a member of the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).
